Everyday except above base camp on Mount Everest

I've worn a skirt trekking in Nepal for ten years and would never go back to shorts. I am treated with so much more respect and have more opportunities to speak with the older women of the villages simply because I'm respecting their culture. I wore my Macabi Skirt everyday except above base camp as I attempted to be the first woman to ski Mount Everest. And it was GREAT!
