Repairing Walls in Luxor
I went to Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt and the pic was taken in Luxor. As our guide was taking us through the ruins I saw these men plastering a non-historic retaining wall and thought "Kodak moment." Would they let me help plaster? Through non-verbal communication they let me throw on a slab of plaster. How many people do you know who have helped repair a wall in Luxor? You know I'm always up for doing something out of the ordinary.
I'll be going back to Nepal late this year and will definitely be taking 2 skirts along. This time I'll be in the Annapurna area (in 1997 it was going towards Everest).Hildy H.
