Uganda AIDS Project

Uganda AIDS Project

Thank you so much for the Travel Skirt! I wore it just about every day on my recent trip to Uganda. While there, I spent six weeks sweating and digging for a service project to help build a school for AIDS orphans. The Macabi Skirt was perfect for this - light, cool, and socially acceptable, as all women in this part of Uganda wear skirts. We also attended church every Sunday, so I would wash it on Saturday and let it dry overnight. After the service project workcamp was over, we went on a safari in a drier part of the country, and the skirt was also perfect for this, as it kept the sun off of my legs and made peeing easy and discreet! We then spent several days hiking in rainforest, which meant getting soaked to the bone every time. After each hike, I would hang up my skirt, and it was dry by dinner! Hope you enjoy the photos!
